Larissa is a registered social worker who uses a trauma-informed approach to provide one-to-one psychotherapy to adults.
Larissa’s professional experience spans over 20 years, and includes consulting, training, applied social research, and clinical practice. In her clinical practice, she is informed primarily by narrative therapy, and draws from a range of other evidence-informed therapeutic modalities to provide holistic support through both short and long-term counselling.
Larissa’s approach to the therapeutic process is guided by her extensive experience living and working with people from diverse communities. In her professional career, she has had the opportunity to work with individuals who embody a diversity of histories, backgrounds and experiences, including those who were houseless or precariously housed, new immigrants, First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples, and people from across the gender and sexual orientation spectrum.
